Researcher Mr. Ali Mohammed Babalghaith participated in the 4th International Conference on Materials Science and Engineering, which was held in Kuala Lumpur from August 26 to 28.

The doctoral student Mr. Ali Babalghaith participated in a research entitled: "Master Curve of Dynamic Modulus for Modified Asphalt Mixtures".

He pointed out that the research dealt with improving the mechanical properties of the asphalt mixture using five different types of plastic (Polymers) as well as waste tires (Crumb Rubber).

He stressed that these materials are of high impact and efficiency to improve the characteristics of asphalt to withstand traffic loads at high temperatures.

The research concludes with Master Curve to predict the solidity of the asphalt mixture at different temperatures.

Mr. Ali Mohammed Babalghaith is one of the scholarship students of Hadhramaut Foundation for the preparation of a PhD in Highway Engineering Center, Department of Civil Engineering, University of Malaya, Malaysia.

It is worth mentioning that Mr. Babalghaith is interested in the engineering of asphalt road-paving materials, where he published many researches and participated in several international conferences specialized in this field in Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Malaysia.
